ADDITIONAL NOTICE FOR MONTANA RESIDENTS

This additional notice for Montana residents (“Montana Notice”) supplements the information in our Privacy Policy and applies solely to persons who are residents of the State of Montana, as defined in the Montana Consumer Data Privacy Act (“MCDPA”). Any terms defined in the MCDPA have the same meaning when used in this section. Capitalized terms not defined in this Montana Notice will have the same meaning as in the Privacy Policy.

Collection of Personal Information

We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household (“Personal Information”). Within the last 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information from consumers or have received the following categories of personal information from other businesses.

Records of personal property, products, or services purchased of real estate, automobiles, recreational vehicles, and similar products, and purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.

Internet

Browsing history, search history, information on a consumer’s interaction with a website or advertisement.

Geolocation data

Postal address, IP address, and the latitude/longitude data of access locations

Inferences drawn from other personal information

Profile reflecting a person’s preferences, attitudes, or interests.

Sale: In the past 12 months, we have sold Personal Information in the categories listed in the Categories Chart above except for Sensitive Personal Information. We do not sell Personal Information of persons under age 18.

Your Rights and Choices

The MCDPA provides Montana residents with specific rights regarding their Personal Information, which are explained below.

1.         Right to Know and Data Portability Rights

You have the right to request that we provide you with certain information about our collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information for the 12-month period prior to the request date, related to categories of Personal Information. You can request that we confirm whether we are processing your Personal Information, and disclose to you:

You have a right to request we delete your Personal Information that we collect about you and retain, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your Verifiable Consumer Request, we will delete, de-identify, or anonymize your personal information, and direct our service providers to do the same.

3.        Right to Correct

You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate Personal Information maintained about you, considering the nature of Personal Information and processing purpose. Once we receive and confirm your Verifiable Consumer Request, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct (and direct our service providers to do the same) your personal information, unless an exception applies.

4.        Opt Out of Sale of Your Personal Information

You have the right to direct us not to sell your Personal Information. Once we receive your request, we will not include your Personal Information in any further sales unless you subsequently provide express authorization for us to do so.

5.        Right to Limit Processing of Sensitive Personal Information

You have the right to limit processing of Sensitive Personal Information used or disclosed beyond certain internal business purposes. We will treat such an opt-out request as a revocation of any consent that you may have provided to your processing of Sensitive Personal Information. Please note that this will only end processing going forward and does not revoke any disclosure or use that occurred before your request.

6.        Right to Access Information About Automated Decision Making and Opt Out of Use

You have the right to request information about our automated decision-making and profiling practices and the likely outcomes of using such processes, and to direct us not process your data for automated decision making and profiling that produce legal or other similarly significant effects. While Coast Tech may generate inferences or customer profiles based on the data we receive, we do not provide any automated decision-making services.

7.        Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights under the MCDPA.

Exercising Your Rights

To exercise the right to know, data portability, and deletion rights, please submit the consumer request to us by either:

Only you, or a person authorized to act on your behalf, may make a Verifiable Consumer Request related to your Personal Information. If you wish to authorize an agent to submit a verifiable request, please submit documentary evidence that provides the authorized agent with signed permission to make a request on your behalf.

We will verify your identity prior to responding to your request. In some situations, we may request further information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected Personal Information or an authorized representative. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request.

We aim to respond complete Verified Consumer Requests within 45 days. Where we require more time (up to a further 45 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period. We aim to comply with all requests to opt out of sale within 15 business days.

Appeal

In certain circumstances, we may decline a request to exercise the rights described above. If your request is denied, you may appeal this decision by contacting us at . We will notify you of any action taken in response to the appeal within 60 days of the appeal notice. If the appeal is denied, you may contact the Montana Attorney General to submit a complaint, if desired, through the forms provided on the Attorney General’s website at https://dojmt.gov/consumer/.
